Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups warm water 💧

2 teaspoons active dry yeast 🐟

3 tablespoons olive oil 💦

1 teaspoon salt 💸

3 cloves garlic, minced 💡

1 cup grated cheddar cheese 🧀

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 🌿

1/2 cup lump crab meat 🦀

1 tablespoon lemon juice 💧

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes ❗️ (optional)

1 loaf Italian bread (1 pound) 🍞️


Preparation Steps:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). 🔪

2️⃣ In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy. 🐟

3️⃣ Add olive oil, salt, garlic, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, crab meat, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the bowl. Mix well. 🌿

4️⃣ Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the inside, leaving a shell. 🍞️

5️⃣ Fill the bread shell with the crab meat mixture and top with additional grated cheese (if desired). 🧀

6️⃣ Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. 🔥

7️⃣ Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. 😋

Notes and Tips:

To enhance the crab flavor, use fresh lump crab meat instead of canned.
